Meet Julie, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I feel truly passionate about encouraging others to find hope and strength within themselves to deal with life’s challenges. When going through difficulties in our lives, it’s easy to stay stuck in our fears and negative beliefs, and the stories we tell ourselves. It’s my hope to support my clients to see beyond these challenges, and do the work needed to learn new skills and healthy ways of coping.
I believe in empowering my clients to recognize the strengths in themselves to deal with life’s challenges. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their treatment goals and believe in the importance of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship to affect change.
I use a relationship based approach to therapy and implement a variety of therapeutic approaches based on the individual needs and goals of the client. These can include:
- Attachment-based therapy
- CBT
- Mindfulness
- EMDR
- Animal Assisted Therapy
- Strength Based Therapy Approaches
